Is Event Management in the Philippines in High Demand

The answer is a resounding yes!

According to Outlook India, Over the last two years, owing to the pandemic, the size of the event industry has shrunk to a mere 20 percent of the original size. We will be back to normal by the year 2022 or even 2023 when the events industry is expected to witness a growth rate of 25-30% in an ideal scenario.

Skift Meetings added that Demand is high and expected to fully rebound to 2019 levels in 2023.

Lastly, the Amex Global Business Travel forecast revealed meeting professionals in the Asia-Pacific region are positive about the health of the industry in 2023. Almost three-quarters (74%) said they would rank themselves an eight or higher on a scale of one to ten measuring optimism levels for the industry, and 68% believe their career options are good to excellent – up from 58% in 2022.

In the Philippines, the same holds true in the event management industry. The main exhibition and meeting venues in Metro Manila are fully booked this 2023. The attendees at physical events are overflowing. Almost all event organizers saw a big surge in participation and attendance.

Despite the threat of international recession, there is no doubt the demand for event management will continue to rise and surpass the 2019 levels on all fronts in the Philippines.

As an event manager, I see the event management industry in the Philippines is flex its muscles and importance from 2023 and the coming years.

So hop in and enjoy the ride.
