Why Event Management professionals are brave too

Today is the Day of Valor (Araw ng Kagitingan) – a holiday focused on those who served and sacrificed themselves during wartime.

On this post, we shall talk about bravery. All people are brave on their own terms, and that includes event management professionals. The time they dedicate to polishing an event, from pre-production to actual execution and even until post-event.

The bravery of event management pros can be described with the fact that they regardless of the limits or risks involved in producing and organizing events, they still do it. They may not just do it for themselves, but also for those who have entrusted them their confidence such as their clients or their exhibitors, and even their visitors.

Whenever there’s a concern inside the event, they are being relied upon to organize things. Wherever there’s a VIP needing escort going to or even inside an event, they are the ones being asked assistance. Whenever there’s a matter that needs to be done fast, they act quick. When the concern is beyond their control, they are the ones facing an irate crowd. At the end of the day, they are the ones who leave the venue post-event last.

If you are an event professional, give thanks to yourself for a job well done. If you know an event professional, thank them for their hard work and dedication.

More importantly, as today is the Day of Valor, let us not forget to thank the ones who sacrificed themselves for our freedom.

Maligayang Araw ng Kagitingan!
